Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Alfred ("Service," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey.

1. Description of Service

1.1 What Alfred Provides

Alfred is an AI assistant service that:

• Automatically selects from multiple AI models based on your query — you never need to choose a model
• Offers text generation, code assistance, image generation, web search, audio transcription, video analysis, artifact creation, and more

1.2 Service Availability

• We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
• Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with notice

1.3 Beta Features

• Some features may be marked as "Beta" or "Experimental"
• Beta features are provided "as-is" without warranties
• We may change or remove beta features at any time

2. Account Registration and Security

2.1 Account Creation

To use Alfred, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the EU)
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain and update your account information
• Have legal capacity to enter into binding contracts

2.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of unauthorized access
• Using strong, unique passwords

We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized use of your account.

2.3 Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• You engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior
• Your account is inactive for 12+ months
• Required by law or to protect our rights

You may delete your account at any time through account settings.

3. Subscription Plans and Billing

3.1 Pricing Tiers

3.2 Billing Terms

• Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance
• Prices are in USD unless otherwise stated
• Payment is processed through Stripe
• You authorize us to charge your payment method
• Failed payments may result in service suspension

3.3 Refunds and Cancellations

Cancellation:

• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds for partial months

Refunds:

• Refunds are considered at our discretion
• Contact support@snrblabs.com with your request and we will respond appropriately

3.4 Price Changes

• We may change subscription prices with 30 days notice
• Price changes do not affect your current billing period
• Continued use after price change constitutes acceptance

4. Acceptable Use Policy

4.1 Permitted Uses

You may use Alfred for:

• Personal productivity and learning
• Professional work and business tasks
• Creative projects and content generation
• Research and analysis
• Educational purposes

4.2 Prohibited Uses

You may NOT use Alfred to:

Illegal Activities:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe intellectual property rights
• Engage in fraud or deceptive practices
• Facilitate illegal activities

Harmful Content:

• Generate content that promotes violence, hate, or discrimination
• Create child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
• Produce malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Harass, threaten, or abuse others

Service Abuse:

• Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the Service
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data
• Resell or redistribute access to the Service
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent limits
• Share account credentials with others

4.3 Enforcement

Violations may result in:

• Warning and request to cease activity
• Temporary suspension of account
• Permanent termination of account
• Legal action if necessary
• Reporting to law enforcement

5. Content and Intellectual Property

5.1 Your Content

Ownership:

• You retain ownership of content you submit to Alfred
• You grant us a license to process your content to provide the Service
• This license ends when you delete your content or account

Your Responsibilities:

• You are responsible for your content
• You must have rights to content you upload
• You must not upload copyrighted material without permission

5.2 AI-Generated Content

Ownership:

• You own the output generated by Alfred in response to your queries
• Subject to limitations of underlying AI model providers
• Some providers may claim rights to AI-generated content

Usage Rights:

• You may use AI-generated content for any legal purpose
• You are responsible for verifying accuracy and legality
• We do not guarantee originality or non-infringement

6. Disclaimers and Limitations

6.1 Service Disclaimers

"AS-IS" BASIS:

• The Service is provided "as-is" and "as available"
• We make no warranties, express or implied
• We do not guarantee accuracy, reliability, or availability

AI LIMITATIONS:

• AI-generated content may be inaccurate, biased, or inappropriate
• You must verify AI output before relying on it
• We are not responsible for decisions made based on AI output

NO PROFESSIONAL ADVICE:

• Alfred does not provide legal, medical, financial, or professional advice
• Do not rely on AI output for critical decisions
• Consult qualified professionals for important matters

6.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

We are NOT liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Damages exceeding the amount you paid in the last 12 months
• Issues caused by third-party AI providers
• Your misuse of the Service

EXCEPTIONS:

• Nothing in these Terms limits liability where the law does not permit it (e.g. fraud or willful misconduct)
• Some jurisdictions do not allow the above limitations, in which case they apply to the maximum extent permitted by local law
